President's Message 2025

The outdoor season is soon to start and as President I will be embarking on my 4th term, a remarkable achievement and one that I am looking forward to with the same enthusiasm as it was in 2009.

2024 was a good year for our youngsters in winning the Amy Rose and hopefully this year they will also do well with a changed team and format; who knows, this year it could be the turn of our Senior squad.

In terms of the Inter Counties matches a disappointing season results wise in 2025, we must do better. I look forward to again working closely with our hard-working Secretary Michael and my executive committee members. I thank my Club Welford for their support, they looked after me and Veronica with pride and finals day was a great success on a really good playing green.

To you the members of our great County I thank you for your support and look forward to having the same this season. To my partner Veronica what can I say she was a brick a great support particularly after her own ordeal in 2024. To Graham my Senior Vice I look forward to working closely with you and to getting you prepared for 2026.
